License plate frame on the Coda: "No Tailpipes. No Emissions."
There were also plug-in Priuses, RAV4 EVes, and Mini Es around earlier.

Somehow I think the coda driver has significantly less smugness then the others. Probably because it looks soooo effing boring that it would perfectly blend in with traffic.

Nah. Looking boring doesn't apply to not being smug. Just look at Prius owners.

Coda: "No Tailpipes. No Emissions. No More."

But you can pick a nissan leaf/prius/tesla/fisker/volt etc, easily out of a crowd. On the other hand, this Coda... god, I knew nothing about it before, and it would take it ramming me off the road before I realized that it wasn't some bland ass form of corolla.

This guy's doing it right.

That's true. A car this silent and boring can probably park behind you in your own garage without you noticing.
But I think that's where smugness comes from. He must show everyone he has an Electric car and while the Leaf/Prius/Volt do it by themselves, he must remind it with his license plate frame, smug smile and also randomly reminding people about this. Otherwise no one would know.

I'd actually like to own a Coda. They're the electric car for those who don't care necessarily if people know that they drive an electric car.

I present to you the tailpipe of a Nissan Leaf:

I should put the antithesis of this on my built V8 Dakota and park next to him.
"Know Tailpipes. Know Emissions."

He should drop little infographics about the manufacturing process on their windshields.

Buy Lotus Exige. Park in lot. Wait to start until everyone is leaving for the day. Make it loud up in here. ???? Profit.

The BMW ActiveE drivers actually drive pretty quick — I guess being a stereotypical BMW driver knows no drivetrain boundaries.

It wasn't the boringness that's the issue with this car. It's the quality — it's utter shit.

I was going for the shock and awe effect.

Ahh. Being EVs, these are more silent-but-deadly.

The Coda looks like it drove away from the gas station with the pump in. Lulz.

The Coda should have said "No longer a company"
